Accreditation

Healing Reins Therapeutic Riding Center was founded in 1999 and is a 501 © 3 non-profit organization. We are a PATH (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship) International Premier Accredited Facility and are the only center of this kind in Oregon east of the Cascades.  Healing Reins is recognized for its excellence in providing nationally recognized horse-centered therapies and activities which are delivered by professionally certified staff with the help of specially trained community volunteers and specifically selected horses.  The organization earned its distinguished status as a PATH International Premier Accredited Center in 2001 and maintains that designation through a rigorous accreditation process that occurs every five years.

Our ADA-approved facility is complete with an indoor riding arena, multiple private mental health spaces, an outdoor arena, two round pen learning areas, and a Sensory Integration Trail course with beautiful views of Mt. Bachelor and the Oregon Cascade range. Professionally certified staff are supported by trained volunteers and specially selected program horses to deliver year-round services.
